Entry ID: 1570179 | Do it again in 2009, Spartans. I played for LaSalle 1960-1964 and we had a very good team, though our number of games was fewer than nowadays. My son Jake played at BW 1987-1990 and in his junior year was 8-1 on the mound under Coach Lee Miller, a great baseball man. Lee, of course, also had a team that won a small schools tournament. Jake went on to pitch at Garrett Community College and West Virginia Wesleyan College. He finished his college diamond career with 23 wins, including a no-hit, 1-0 win over Bluefield State.
