Entry ID: 1461337 | I was at my grandsons game last night and was having a good time until i learned from a parent that they are being told that the reason there is no roller hockey league was because it would ruin the surface. This is a boldface lie. The rink , boards, and surface coating are all designed for roller hockey use. The coating is called "Skatemaster". It is a tough reinforced acrylic surface that holds up to almost anything (except ice picks). I can't believe the league is so selfish that me my kids and others who paid for the rinks with our hard earned tax money have to drive to Washinton twp. or Glassboro to get a little recreation. What are you afraid of????? And please no nonsense about insurance.
