Entry ID: 1704077 | This is my second year of my son playing football and we were excited as well. However, Sr Black Coach Mike Harlow has been nothing but rude, patronizing and condescending. I have tried to speak to him as an educated adult many times without success. Speaking to him is like speaking with my 10 year old. He has called my child a "wussy" and therefore leading the other players to join in. This has been an awful experience and I will not return. I will be making a formal complaint to the WS City Manager, as no one is willing to help me through the Youth Organization. This is about the children learning team work and simply having fun and not about adults trying to live vicariously through the children. I guess those you can do...teach or rather coach in this instance. I sincerely hope Basketball and Baseball bring better results. |
