Entry ID: 1731643 | In case you haven't heard ... you WCYFA cheerleaders made a HUGE SPLASH at the 8th annual Autumn Blast Cheer Competition!!! Competing against some of the best recreational cheer squads in the metroplex (e.g., Arlington, Ft. Worth, Caddo Mills, Rockwall, Lake Highlands, Cedar Hill, Mesquite, & Pleasant Grove), your cheerleaders brought home LOTS of shiny metal!!! There is no doubt in anyone's mind now that Wylie is the place for CHEER and WCYFA is place to do it!!!!!
Thank you to all the parents that supported the girls throughout the season!!
Thanks to all the girls for giving 110%!!
Thanks to all the coaches for giving so unselfishly of their time and talents!!!

AHMO!!! Way to go 2A Cheerleaders!!! Division B Champs (blowing the competition away in their last minute cheer off!!) and Grand Champions of the entire Competition!!! I am so proud of all the girls, Coach Kim and Coach Nancy... Congratulations on a great season!!
Also, congrats to the Flag and 1A cheerleaders for their 1st place finishes in their divisions and 3A for their 2nd place finish in their division. We showed them that Wylie KNOWS how to cheer!!!

2a what a wonderfull come from behind win and crushing. You guys never gave up, and kept them guessing on every snap. Way to go!
3a, I am so honered to be a part of the coaching staff. I am so proud of you guys. Practice is everything, that's where we as coaches and you as players put this whole thing together. With the concentration, determination, and FOCUS I think we all have, this season will only get better.
We have a goal. That goal is the championship. As do all of the teams in WCYFA. Coaches, players, and parents, let's all keep working toghther and it will happen for us.

Also great job to the cheerleaders, I feel we have 4 great teams supporting our boys through every game. Its great to hear you behind us throughout the games..
Thanks to the parents this year. We have so much support for our teams at every game. Lets make a little more noise this weekend.....
