I played my entire YT and sandlot baseball careers on Shryock Field [in Spry]. I lived on that field from about 4 or 5 years old. Learning baseball. Playing baseball. Loving baseball. There are a lot of wonderful memories on that field: the early years, the struggles, the team-building, and the sweet Championship seasons. I cherish them all as well as my teammates who I loved and would do anything for. I gave everything I had for baseball and left it all out on that field. For me, Shryock Field is hallowed ground. Where, one day, my ashes will be spread. I would love seeing YT returning to Shryock permanently as it's home field. Make it happen. GOOD LUCK in 2020, fellas!
