Welcome to Glasgow University Women's Basketball Club's website for the 2008-2009 season.
The site has all information about training, games, social events and tournaments!
The website is updated regularly so keep logging on!
Training 2008-2009
Training has not yet been confirmed for this year but we are hoping for the same slots as last year:
Tuesdays 6pm - 8pm @ Kelvin Hall
Fridays 7.15pm - 9pm @ Stevenson Building
Training starts again in September 2008!
How to join the best club in the University*
If you wish to join the best club in the university* then you need to become a member of the Sport and Recreation Service (basically go along to the Stevie building armed with your matriculation card and 30 of your finest pounds!). Then come along to any of our fantastic training sessions (details on this site) and complete a form and depending on whether you want to just train (£25) or actually play in the team (£50) depends on how much cashio we'll take off you!!

Social Events
Our new social convenor (Noe Llamas Gomez)will arrange some fantastic nights out this season. In the past we've had karaoke, quiz nights, SingStar extravaganzas, bbq, nights out in the QM/Viper, or just a cheeky pint after training.

New Fundraising Website
Look under 'GUWBC News' for information on our new fundraising website. Do your online shopping and raise money for the club!
GUWBC Shop - Still Open!
If you want to purchase any GUWBC items they are all detailed under 'Online Shop'.
To order any item go to 'Online Forms' and fill out all the details.
We will do one or two orders a year so check the forum!
Cash or cheques made payable to G.U.W.B.C. should be handed to the treasurer.
Game Information
All information regarding games (team lists, meeting points etc!!) will be found on the Forum, so keep checking the site!!
