2009 Baseball Registration
2009 GVAA Spring Baseball Registration will be held:
Saturdays: January 10, 2009 & January 17, 2009
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wednesday, January 21, 2009
6p.m. to 9 p.m.
at Voorhees Middle School Cafeteria
Players, ages 5-18 are eligible
(must be 5 years old by April 30, 2009)
Birth Certificate is required for all new players
All age groups April 30th cutoff
Late Registrations will be assessed $25.00
late fee after January 21, 2009

GVAA District & Tournament Team Manager Resumes are now being Accepted
Anyone who is interested in managing a district or tournament team in 2009, ages 8 through 15, should send an email to Lance Hudak at lchudak@comcast.net by December 15, 2008. The email should include a summary of the candidate's qualifications and age level requested. Interviews of candidates will take place after December 15th and selection of managers will occur in January. If you have questions please call Lance Hudak at 609-230-4478. If you managed a district or tournament team in 2008, you must still re-apply for consideration in 2009.
Managers & Coaches Requirements for 2009
GVAA Managers/Coaches fee for 2009 is $25.00 which includes shirt, insurance, membership, Rutgers Course & voting rights.
Voting Rights -General members may pay $15.00 for voting rights by September 26, 2009.
Only Managers & Coaches, 18 years or older, whose membership are current are allowed on the field with players.
Completion of the Rutgers Safety Course for Volunteer Coaches- The course will be held, Monday, November 24, 2008 at 6:15 p.m. at VMS and Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 9 to noon at VMS. To register for the course, please email Diane Mintzer at mintzerd@aol.com with your name, phone and email. If you are unable to attend, either of those dates please go to Rutgers Youth Sports. to find another location for the course. GVAA will reimburse you for the costs of the course.
General Membership Meetings: 4th Monday of every month (excl. July, Aug., Nov & Dec) at the Lions Lake Community Center, January through March - 8:00 p.m. April through October - 8:30 p.m., (Coaches Meetings are Mandatory) Next meeting is- Monday, January 26, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.

Babe Ruth League, Inc. has developed a mandatory course for ALL GVAA coaches that must be completed before the start of the Spring 2009 season.
