Player Fee Registration Rules
2009 The Ohio Red Bulls, Inc.
PLAYER FEE RESPONSIBILITY FORM
Please read the following player responsibility form before signing. Once you have signed this contract, you are accepting full responsibility for the terms and conditions set forth.
The Ohio Red Bulls, Inc. is a minor league football team. Our primary source of financial stability comes from individual player fees, fundraisers, and sponsorship contributions. For this reason, each player is required to pay a non-refundable player fee of $100 to help alleviate some of the team’s operation expenses. Player fees obtained are applied towards the cost of team operation expenses, and are used solely for that purpose. Player fees must be paid upon making the team or you will not participate in any games or practices.
INJURIES
· All players agree to waive and release The Ohio Red Bulls, Inc. of all financial liability from any type of claims or causes of action arising from, or concerning their participation.
· Accident coverage is available for the season for $50.
· Players are encouraged to have a complete physical done by a licensed physician, at the player’s expense. Physicals are not mandatory, but are highly suggested.
EQUIPMENT
· All players are responsible for the upkeep of their own equipment, and the cost of its upkeep.
· Players that receive equipment from The Ohio Red Bulls, Inc. must turn in equipment after season is over in good condition. You are responsible for this equipment while in your possession. If lost or stolen you are responsible for the cost of said equipment.
· The Ohio Red Bulls, Inc. will supply uniforms that must be turned in after every game. We will not be responsible for storing or replacing player’s equipment only what the team purchases.
· Players must have up to date equipment that meets no less then the industry standards set by the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment. (NOCSAE)
ATTENDANCE POLICY
· All players are required to attend weekly practices to remain eligible for playing time. When a situation arises that you cannot attend practice, you are required to contact a member of team management as soon as possible.
· Team management is considered as, Team President, Head Coach, or Player Representative.
· Anyone not contacting team management will be unexcused Any player, who receives two (2) unexcused absences in the same week, will not be eligible for playing time in the weeks scheduled game. Any player receiving four (4) unexcused absences anytime throughout the entire 2006 season will be released from the team without a refund.
DRUG, ALCOHOL, WEAPONS or FIGHTING POLICY
· NOT PERMITTED! Possession or usage of any illegal substance, fighting or weapons will result in the immediate expulsion from the team,
· Players are expected to conduct themselves in an adult manner and represent The Ohio Red Bulls, Inc., Community Partners, and State of Ohio with the highest degree of professionalism.
UNIFORM POLICY
· Uniforms are the property of The Ohio Red Bulls, Inc., and will be supplied on game day.
· Each player will be assigned a specific uniform number. Players are not permitted to exchange uniform numbers, or alter the uniform in any way.
· Players are responsible for turning in uniforms at the end of each game to the equipment manager.
· Uniforms will be washed, and if needed, repaired by team management.
· Any player not turning in his uniform will be held liable for a cost of $75 until the uniform is returned in good condition.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
· All players in good standing will be eligible for playing time.
· Starting positions are awarded on an attendance & performance basis.
