I’ve been on 10 different softball teams in my many seasons, but I’ve never been on a team like the Traffic Cones.  Somehow, our bright orange team managed to come together and have more fun on and off the field than any other team I’ve experienced.  When a pitcher was down, you could hear each and every fielder yelling encouragement and making the pitcher smile. When we were losing a game, not a speck of positivity would leave our faces.  In fact, those were the times we came together the most, and whether or not we were able to come back and win, we sure put up our toughest competition.  And we never began or ended a game without our head cheerleader Kelsey’s original cheers, always ending in “T to the R to A to the double-F, I, C! Cones on three! One, two, three…Cones!”  Thank you, Traffic Cones, for the best softball season yet.
