New Line-Up look Results in Another Win for Mite Minors
December 7, 2008 --
With a new line-up look, the Mite Minors saw a flury of offensive activity and number of assists to bring home the win 5-1 over NH East.
Player of the Game, Brandon Burroughs, notched his first hat trick for the season. Adam Webster and William Herbert also let the puck fly to find the back of the net.
Cameron Donovan continues to anchor the defensive zone with cat like reflexes.

Solid Team Play Results in a Win at Laconia
December 6, 2008 --
NH Jr Monarchs - Mite Minors pulled together and played a solid three periods of hockey to win 10-1 against the Laconia Lakers.
Unselfish play resulted in 7 assists and host of players scoring. Player of the Game, Ryan Sweeney, had a solid performance in the offensive, defensive and neutral zones. Other players to find the back of the net were William Herbert(2), Adam Webster(2), Jordan Howell, Michael McCormick, Isaac Champagne, Gunnar Senatore and Brendan Herbert.
Cameron Donovan maintained his focus and composure to stop 3 of the 4 shots from the charging Lakers.

Tough Turkey Served over Holiday Weekend
November 29, 2008 --
NH Jr Monarchs Mite Minors lose turkey tournament games despite tough play in both zones.
11/28 - Mite Minors vs. Amesbury
Monarch Mite Minors lose 8 to 4 despite gritty play. Strong team play in both zones did not result in a win despite goals from Michael McCormick, Jacob Howell and William Herbert (2). Cameron Donovan continues to impress between the pipes.
11/29 - Mite Minors vs. Newburyport
Monarch Mite Minors fall to Newburyport 7 to 1. Jacob Howell found the back of the from a great pass from William Herbert for the lone goal for the Monarchs. Cameron Donovan maintained his composure and focus despite a barage of shots.
11/29 - Mite Minors vs. Exeter Blizzard
Mite Minors drop game to Blizzard 4 to 2. William Herbert lead off the scoring supported by strong offensive play from the entire team. Brandon Burroughs hammered home a quick pass from William to tally the second goal for the Monarchs. Cameron Donovan kept the Monarchs close through three periods with stellar play between the pipes.

Solid Team Play Results in a Win

Mite Minors pulled together with solid offensive and defensive play to pull out a win against Back Bay.
Players of the Game, Adam Webster and Gunnar Senatore, showed how solid two way play can lead to goals for each player and victory for the team. Conner Vaillincourt, Sergei Kirlin, William Herbert, Jacob Howell (2) and Michael McCormick (4) all let the puck fly to find the back of the net.
Goalie, Cameron Donnovan, played a solid 3 periods of play to achor the tenacious defense and secure the win.

Monarchs Fall to Flames
November 16, 2008 --
This coaching match-up had the Monarchs dig-in against the Flames despite a long weekend and late nights.
Despite a late night Scrimmage at the Verizon Arena the Monarchs pulled together and played an action packed 3 periods. Player of the game, Jacob Howell, lead the offensive attack.
Cameron Donovan continues to develop solid form recording another 22 saves over 3 periods to command the solid defense.

Nail Biter in Monarchs Home Opener
November 15, 2008 --
Despite strong play at both ends of the ice Monarchs lose home opener against the Panthers.
Player of the game Conner Vaillancourt recorded another goal and showcased strong defensive play. Adam Webster recorded 2 assists to help Mike McCormick get his first hat trick of the season.
Goalie, Cameron Donovan, played solid goal with 22 saves and proved the anchor to of the hard nosed defense.

Mite Minors add another win
November 2, 2008 --
The Mite Minors pulled out a victory over the Mount Washington Valley Eagles at the Ham Ice Arena in Conway in decisive fashion - 13-0.
Coaches focused on team play as well as on player development by mixing up the lines after the game was in hand. Player of the Game, Drew Gruchot, found the back of the net twice and provided solid defensive support. Scores where tallied by Jacob Howell(2), Brandon Burroughs, Adam Webster, Michael McCormick, Gunnar Senatore, Brendan Herbert, Jordan Howell, William Herbert, Conner Vaillancourt, and Ryan Sweeney.
Cameron Donovan was in rare form to recorded his second shut out in 2 games.

Monarch's over-power NH East
November 1, 2008 --
After a slow start in the first period, the Mite Minors found their rhythm and stride to pull out a 6-0 victory over NH East at Philips Exeter Academy.
Brendan Herbert lead off the scoring but the rest of the team soon caught fire. Mike McCormick, the Player of the Game, fired away for 2 goals. Adam Webster, Jordan Howell, and Sergei Kirilin all also let the puck fly to find the back of the net.
Cameron Donovan provide solid support in goal. Cameron recorded his first shut out in style with solid form and positional play.
