FAQ
What should your child wear/bring to
practice?
Your child must always attend practice in
proper attire. If your child is not dressed properly he/she may be sent
home. This is for the safety of your child and all the other children on
your child's team. If you have a question regarding if an item can or
cannot be worn/brought to practice, please ask your child's coach before
allowing them to attend practice with it. Your child may also bring plain
water to practice. No flavored water or other type of drink will be
allowed.
Shoes
Your children must attend practice with
proper fitting sneakers. Please make sure the laces are tied well before
sending your child in to practice. If they come untied easily you may wish
to double knot them to ensure they stay tied for your child's safety.
Clothing
T-shirts and non-jean shorts should be
worn to every practice. If it is cold outside they can wear warm-ups or
sweats over their practice clothes. Pajama pants are not allowed, please
make a note of this.
Hair
The girls should have their hair in a
ponytail with their bangs out of their face. This is not for looks, but
for the safety of the girls.
Jewelry
Jewelry is NOT allowed. No earrings of
any kind, no rings, bracelets, necklaces, or other types of jewelry. If
you have any questions about this please see your child's coach.
What do I have to pay for?
We will be doing fundraising to help you
cover the costs for the season. You may choose to do a total buy out for
$170 and not do any fundraising at all. If you only do part of the
fundraising needed to cover costs you will be required to pay the balance of
your account.
Registration
The registration fee is $80 for one child or
$130 for two children. This fee pays our insurance, administrative fees,
etc.
Shoes
The first fundraiser we will do covers the
cost of their shoes. This fundraiser will be the pizza kits and will be
given out January 15th. The amount you need to fundraise is $60. You must pay this amount if you choose not to do the
pizza kit fundraiser.
Competition fees
The next two fundraisers we do will cover our
competition fees. The first fundraiser will cover $60 and the second will
cover $50. If you do not do these fundraisers you will be required to pay
these costs.
Required Apparel
You will be required to purchase a crop top,
bloomers, socks, shorts, and a bow. Total cost for these items will be
$57. If you have one or all of these items from a previous year, they
still fit, and are in good useable condition you may be able to reuse them.
Please ask about this option if you are interested. You may also be able
to purchase some of these items online or in a store at a better price. If
you would like to purchase any of these items on your own please speak with your
child's coach to ensure you know exactly what you will need as far as
color/style.
Optional Apparel
If you wish to purchase a gym bag or warm-up
set from us you may. These items are very nice and include embroidery
costs. The total for the warm-up and the bag will be $110. They will
be available for order when we order our other apparel.
Hotel Fees
You will be required to pay for your
accommodations for our out of town competitions directly to the hotels.
You are not required to stay in the hotel where we have held a room block,
however you should still make note of where it is as we may be meeting there
while we are out of town. If you will be staying somewhere else, please
provide your child's coach with contact information for you during your stay so
that we will be able to get a hold of you should something come up. Also
please plan on checking in with us upon your arrival so that we know you arrived
safely. Thanks.
Who should I talk to if I have a problem?
If you run into a problem please talk to your
child's coach. If your child's coach is unable to resolve your issue
he/she should be able to refer you to someone who can. If you feel that
your child's coach did not address the matter and/or the person you are referred
to is unable to help please talk to Ms. Judi. Your child is very important
to us so please address any concerns promptly, do not hesitate to talk to the
coaches.
If you are running into financial concerns
please speak with Ms. Holly, Ms. Mary, or Ms. Judi about it, do not wait until your child's
account is overdue.
