Coach Sully's son, Bill Hamid signs on with DC United
"Washington, D.C. (September 2, 2009) - D.C. United announced today the club has signed Academy goalkeeper Abdul “Bill” Hamid to a Generation adidas contract with the first team. Hamid is the first player to sign with the first team directly from United’s academy youth system."

http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid14096633001?bclid=18719880001&bctid=36791510001__________________________________________________________________________________ Premier AC-trained Erin Brady, a strong factor on VA AA Champion Soccer Team as a FreshmanErin Brady was selected this past Spring '09 to be a part of the defending AA State Champion Broad Run High School Varsity Soccer Team. She beat out competing players from Division 1 teams using the skills and tactical knowledge she has learned in the PAC system. Erin has been a part of the PAC trained ASC Premier Gold since starting travel soccer in 2004. Sully Hamid and Sheka Kamara, coaches for the team, have been preparing Erin for the step to high school play for the last 5 years. The concentration of the coaches has never been on winning and division level, but on teaching the technical skills and tactical knowledge needed to play anywhere.
"It is first and foremost in our proven PAC system to give the game to the players at an early age by teaching them the technical and tactical progression from cradle to grave. Erin exemplified that progression. We are looking forward to have her compete for a spot in the Regional and US National team in the not too distant future" remarked Coach Sully Hamid.
Erin helped Broad Run achieve an outstanding 23-0-1 season and scored the first goal of the VA AA state championship.
Broad Run went on to win the championship with a 3-0 shutout. Way to go, Erin!
The Washington Post recently posted two news articles on Abdul “Bill” Hamid, “one of the top goalkeeping prospects in the United States.” Bill has played most recently Robinson High School, the DC United Academy, and the under-20 US National pool. His father, Sully Hamid, is the President of Premier Athletics Club and coach of the ASC Premier Soccer team. Coach Sully has been Bill’s most influential coach throughout his development years and has ingrained his philosophies toward player development into the ASC Premier’s training program.
