Welcome to the Boone County Pee Wee Football League (BCPWFL)
Welcome to the Eagles, a Midget Division team in the Boone County Football League. Our players are 6 through 9 year olds, not turning 10 before August 1st.

We ask that you remember that this is a volunteer run organization and we cannot succeed without the help of parents. We too have full time jobs outside of football. We will be calling on you to help out with the team on occassion.

We ask, if you have questions that you ask them at appropriate times. The head coach would rather discuss things before or after practice. He uses every minute in instructing our players. I prefer you wait until practice starts. The Team Mom will take questions during practice.

We DO practice in the HEAT, RAIN, and COLD. We have the best intentions in the health of your child, but please dress them according to the weather. We provide all water for the boys. We will continually be spraying not only in their mouths, but over their heads. If you bring a sports bottle or water bottle of some kind, please give it to them after practice.

When practicing, at the first sight of lightning, practice will be canceled, so make sure you are able to pick up your child if the weather changes. Please be prompt to pick up children after practice.

Please make sure that we have your current phone number/cell number. If you leave your child at practice, we must have a cell number. See the Team Mom to provide this information.

We have been asked to pass along that NO ONE is to park on any grassy area at Idlewild Park. We also ask that you do not park in the front row of spots next to the practice field. We need to have these spots for the coaches that haul our equipment to the field each night. Please do not block anyone into a spot and leave your car unattended. Please watch for children in the parking lot.

We ask that all the children be at the games 1 hour before game time.

We will update this website as we get additional information.

    Rules!!
    1) Practice is important, but schoolwork ALWAYS comes first.
    2) Please wash the uniforms in cold water and hang. Do not use bleach on uniforms when washed.
    3) If you are not going to be at practice, please call and let us know.
    4) BE ON TIME! July and August are HOT and you do not want to run laps for being late. If you have an issue let us know.
    5) DO NOT TURN IN MONEY TO US THAT IS NOT IN A MARKED ENVELOPE!! Make sure the enveloped is labeled with what it is for and your child's name. Turn into Team Mom only! Do not turn money into the Coach!

    Fundraising
We realize that this is the word that parents hate to hear. We too have to raise money with our kids to suport the league and teams. We push the Walk-A-Thon and raffle so that other fundraisers do not have to be done. We ask that every team member raise $120 in the walk and raffle combined. If it is easier to sell tickets, then I will supply all that you want. You start out with 50, turn that money back into the Team Mom, and she will give you more. All money will be due SEPTEMBER 10th. The fundraiser is how we pay for our banquet. This will be a transition coming from other teams, but with everyone's efforts we will have a great end of the season banquet.

The Walk-A-Thon is scheduled for Saturday, August 8th. We will meet at 8:30 am in the parking lot of Idlewild Park. Parents do not have to walk. We are asking as many parents to carpool as possible as there will be 2000 children lining up for the walk. If you do not stay for the Walk-A-Thon, please pick up your player no later than 11:00 am. Due to the hazards there are no strollers, wagons or siblings that are not registered in the league allowed on the walk. Some of the children will need to be weighed in. We will discuss more as time gets closer.

Raffle tickets are scheduled to be distributed on Monday, July 27th at practice.

There will be a Pizza Party for those who reach the goal of $120. There will be more information to come.
