The Brampton Canadettes are pleased to announce that Jay Summers and Krista McArthur will be returning to Brampton next season, 2013-2014, as coaches for the Intermediate AA team. The Canadettes would like to thank Don Stoddart for all of his efforts this current season as well as in seasons past. Please see the attached Bio for more information, including contact emails. Permission to Skate Form
Any registered BCGHA Player who wishes to try out for any other association must have a Permission to Skate form to present before she is allowed on the ice. No Player Release forms will be issued until after May 31, 2013.
Requests must be submitted by April 7th at 6:00pm. Pick up is April 8th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Century Gardens Rink 2 upstairs office.

Bantam AA Team Raises money for the Hospital for Sick Children

The Brampton Canadettes Bantam AA Team raised approximately $1,000 for the Hospital for Sick Children. Some of the team was even able to make a trip to the hospital to hand deliver an electronic gaming system and the many games they were able to purchase with the money.

The program provides financial assistance to members of the Canadettes family for their post secondary education. Special Price $199.00 for 24 Weeks. Starts September 28th. Click on the Link to Registration page for On-Line Registration. Available to girls now 3, 4, 5, 6,7 and 8 years of age, the program will serve as a fun introduction to the game of hockey. Girls on Ice will occur weekly on Fridays and start in Sept , 2012 out of Century Gardens facility. The program will utilize fun focused repetitive drills aimed at developing balance & stability, fundamental skating techniques and a growing on ice confidence with each session. Instructors will use positive re-enforcement to support the development of the participants in an ideal low student to instructor ratio.
Each 50 minute session will start with a team group skate. Participants will be split out into groups to engage in a series of fun individual and team drills focused on developing core hockey requirements. Our progressive development model will allow students to graduate appropriately at their own speed rather than that of other participants. The introduction of pucks and basic hockey game concepts will occur only as our participants are ready. Participants will be required to wear full hockey equipment.

The Canadettes 2012 AGM will take place on Wednesday May 23rd, 7:00PM @ Century Gardens Room #1 (Aud).
Propose amendment to the constitution : Black pants and Helmets are required apparel for the Canadettes uniform. Board approved pant covers are allowed to match the Canadettes uniforms. All Canadettes apparel is to be approved by the board and whatever configuration is chosen by the team it must be consistent throughout all players participating on that team.
