*Please Note: May 6, Association Championships, Saint Mary's High School; Points accumulated throughout the S.J.W.A. local freestyle season tournaments will determine the top four wrestlers per weight in each age group (Bantam, Midget, Novice, and School boy/girl)(Rookie Division only top two). These four wrestlers will be invited to the S.J.W.A. Championships to wrestle for the Association Championship Trophies, where first through third place trophies, and a fourth place medal will be awarded. Cadet and Junior Divisions Freestyle are open to all wrestlers. Entry fee for Cadet and Junior Divisions are $10.00. Please Note that the Junior division is NO Longer a qualifier for the State Association Duals* The team will be chosen during the association practices held at Turlock High School May 8-19.
Tournament Information
Weigh-ins:
6:30-8:00 A.M. ($10.00 Late Fee after 8:00AM)
Tournament Scheulde:
9:00 - Rules Clinic
9:30 – Wrestling Begins
NOTE TO ALL: To help our tournaments run smoothly, the assistance of our parents and friends is needed and appreciated. See the Tournament Director to find out where you can help out.
Age Groups
K = Kids 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14
C = Cadets: 15-16 years old
J = Juniors: 9th-12th grade
O = Open: out of high school
Fees
Entry Fee
$10.00 for each style
USA Wrestling Cards
Competitor: $30 (one time fee per season)
Coach’s card: $30 (one time fee per season)
A coach’s band is required to coach on the mat at all tournaments. If you have a coach’s card and no copper card, the coach’s band costs $5.00. If you have the coach’s card and either a copper or bronze certification, the coach’s band is free.
