In order to build our season highlight reel (which will be shown at the program's celebration banquet on November 18 and is available for individual sale), we are asking for anyone with digital images of players to put those images on a CD, mark it either Frosh/Soph, JV, or Varsity, and hand it off to Jacqueline Banks or contact Vicky Walker by using the Contact Info tab in the menu at upper left.

Varsity Squad Wins Diamond Ranch Tourney!
September 26, 2009 --
Claremont High School emerged victorious in the day-long Diamond Ranch High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Tournament, taking out La Sierra High School in the final, 25-22 and 25-20, to collect another piece of hardware for the CHS trophy case. Senior Taylor Ford (front row, far right) and sophomore Taylor Scott (back row, third from left) were named to the All Tournament Team for their stellar performances at the net.
Claremont ended pool play behind Hemet High School after suffering an opening-match three-game loss to Hemet, 17-21, 21-17, 12-15. The CHS varsity girls came back strong in their next two matches, however, beating Carter High School and host Diamond Ranch, each in two straight.
Against Sonora High in the quarterfinals of playoff action, Claremont won the game-to-25 contest, 25-13. Facing Hemet for a second time, Claremont exacted revenge in a tough semifinal bout that ended in a score of 27-25.

Summer League Results: Varsity Wins Club West Tourney; All Three Squads Make It To Finals!
Summer League play for the Claremont High School Girls Volleyball program was quite impressive. The Varsity squad, after losing to fellow Baseline League team Rancho Cucamonga in the quarterfinals of the Tuesday night Ayala tournament, turned the tables on the Cougars two days later, beating them in two straight, 25-17 and 25-23, in the final to lay claim to the Club West Power League trophy.
A determined Junior Varsity team advanced to the final round of the consolation bracket in Thursday night action at Ayala High School.
And the scrappy Frosh/Sophers battled Baseline League rival Los Osos in the final round of Friday night action at Ayala. They placed second in the tourney behind the Grizzlies.
