    2009/2010 CENTRAL JERSEY BASKETBALL LEAGUE (CJBL)

    DIVISIONS
    Girls
    • 11U (born after 7/31/97)
    • 13U (born after 7/31/95)

    AGE & TOWN ELIGIBILITY

    • Coaches MUST have player roster (with birth certificate and picture) at all games. (NOTE) It is recommended that kids play at their grade level if skills warrant it.
    • Players MUST live in your town. Any exceptions MUST be approved by division coordinator and Dave Weiss.
    • Players can only play on one team in our league.
    • Little League Rule Exception. If a player is in the primary grade and is born between 5/1 and 7/31 of the same year prior to the age cut-off, CJBL will allow that player to participate ONLY after providing proof of grade (ie, report card). No playing down to meet the exception.


    RULES
    4th Grade Girl's Rules:

    20 minute halves. Clock stops at the 3 minute mark on all whistles. No press at all. No mandatory substitution rule.

    5/6th Grade Girl's if combined. 22 minute halves. Clock stops on all whistles after the the 3 minute mark. Press at the 3 minute mark of each half. No press after 15 point margin. Same rules apply if there are a separate 5th and 6th grade
    division.

    7/8th Grade Girl's- Same as above but there is a press at any time other then the 15 point margin. If there are separate divisions, same rules as above apply

    COSTS
    • $100 per every girl’s team (not town).

    • Fees will go towards secondary insurance, trophies, jackets to division winners, league coordinators, scheduler, all-star game expenses, financial assistance where applicable, referee shortfalls, etc.

    • Each team is responsible for paying 1 referee per game (2 refs total)

    • $37 per team paid to referee before start of game (multiple games)
    • $40 per team paid to referee before start of game (single game)

    • League will provide all referees unless other arrangements have been made in advance with coordinator

    • Any additional fees, if applicable, for score-keeper/clock-keeper is between both teams to agree on before the game

    • $100 Forfeit Bond (per team)

    • Used for referee and gym fee reimbursement, where applicable. Division
    coordinator and league administration will provide more information
    relating to specific charges (ie, no-shows, miscommunication between coaches, multiple game changes without advanced notice, etc.)

    • Fee will be reimbursed at season’s end if no assessments are charged.


    TEAM REQUIREMENTS

    • $100 entrance fee and $100 forfeit bond per team paid by 10/20. (Payable to Central Jersey Basketball League, sent to Dave Weiss, 37 Wolff Ave., Edison NJ 08837).

    • Gym availability dates, times, and conflicts (best efforts) to coordinator by 10/25 (form to follow by coordinator).

    • Rosters to coordinators by 11/15 (form to follow by coordinator).
