Congratulations, Ron
 
In May, Ron Kiener was inducted into the Clarence High School Sports Hall of Fame. Ron is on the TCBA Board of Directors and has been involved in coaching for many years. Ron's presenter was long time Clarence Varsity coach Jack Yanno, who worked with the TCBA for many years. Coach Yanno has just released his book,  " The Journey Across the Diamonds - The History of Clarence Baseball.". He recently had a book signing at Memorial Park.  Anyone interesed in purchasing his book can contact Doug Kohler, Director of Special Projects, Clarence Historical Society at:  dkohler@clar.wnyric.org

Clarence Grad receives Bronze Star Medal
 
Capt. Christopher J Miano, the son of Robin and Joseph Miano (TCBA Hall of Fame Member) was awarded the Bronze Star Medal on Dec. 7, while in Iraq. The president authorized the awarding of the medal by executive order, and it was given for "exceptional and meritorious service while assigned as the executive officer during operation iraqi Freedom".  Congratulations to Capt. Miano and the Miano family..
