Sign-ups for new Cowboys football players and cheerleading will begin June 1st, June 22nd and July 13th 2013 from 930am-1pm at Blair Elementary under gazebo. Even though on-line registrations are valid, we will need a hard copy so please do your best to come out in person with an original copy of the popwarner registration and payment. You will need to print out the player contract and physical form in the handout section on this page. Please fill out these forms. Bring the player/parent contract (2 pages) with you to sign-ups. Yes, your participant MUST sign the form regardless of age.
Cost for tackle football is 80 dollar registration fee with a 30 dollar equipment fee. It is 80 dollars for flag with a 20 dollar equipment fee, and 80 dollars for cheer with a 10 dollar equipment fee. There is a sibling discount of 10 dollars per sibling.
Also needed for sign-ups, a copy of the FINAL REPORT CARD sent to you by the school of your childs designation. Report cards may not have come by the time you sign up, but ensure a complete copy (all pages) is brought to us on one of the sign up dates or by JULY 31st, 2013. It is a requirement to participate.
Your child is also REQUIRED to have a POP WARNER PHYSICAL FORM (2 pages) (see physical form under main menu) dated no earlier than January 1st, 2013 before he or she begins practice AUGUST 1ST, 2013. There is no planned free physical's as of yet. There is something in the works for a possible discounted physical. Once the word is passed down, I will update here on site.
All participants will have to bring a copy of birth certificate at time of sign-ups. These must be kept by us to use to certify the books through Pop Warner.
5-7 FLAG FOOTBALL (Tiney Mite tackle is 6 & 7 yr olds, Max weight is 75)
Age is as of July 31st, 2013 age. If you turn 8 on July 31st, 2013, then your age is 8. If you turn 8 on August 1st, 2013, then you are considered a 7 yr old. No participant can be born AUGUST 1ST 2008 or AFTER and be eligible for our program. Our larger divisions are not a guarantee at all. Jr. Midget and Midget will more than likely combine with another program so please be prepared to do so.
BE AWARE A CHILD MAY START THE PRACTICE SEASON NO MORE THAN 6 POUNDS OVER THE MAX WEIGHT FOR THEIR DIVISION.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND WE ARE A LARGE ORGANIZATION WITH LIMITED SPACE TO PRACTICE. We are looking to field 1 flag team, 1 tiny mite, 1 mitey mite team, 1 junior pee wee team, 1 pee wee team, 1 junior midget team, 1 midget team.
OUR CHEER DIVISIONS RUN CONCURRENT WITH OUR FOOTBALL AGE GROUPS, AND THERE IS NO MAX, WE NEED AND WANT AS MANY AS WE CAN GET!!!!!!!!!!!
