BACKGROUND:
My name is Coach Brian Wiley and my coaching staff and myself have been training and coaching Boys and Girls Basketball for over 20 years in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Some of our past players are current and former College and Professional Basketball Players. We teach the game because we love the game. My hope is that our players will share in the love and passion for the game and all the benefits that can come along with it.
OUR PURPOSE:
To Give 10-18 year old boys and girls an opportunity to compete and gain needed experience/exposure playing against similar competition of their peers. Also, to develop players' individual skills to enhance their team performance, while having "Fun".
OUR FUTURE:
This is the 9th year for the DC Heat Basketball Organization. The team is "sanctioned" as an official AAU Program under the Potomac Valley AAU. We are a registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. We will be playing against many of the established AAU Teams in and outside of the local area. Therefore, exposure to high level competition will be realized. We will play in many "out of town" and local area Tournaments/Leagues. Donations and Sponsorships are always welcome to help minimize "out of pocket" expenses for the parents and they are Tax Deductible!!
