It's our 1st home game of the season...
September 19, 2009 --
at the NEW McAdams Jr. High Football Field. So bring your Gator Spirit and cheer, cheer, cheer for our kids!!!
Let’s all remember to set a positive image of our Hometown.
Please refrain from booing or yelling-out negative comments to the players, cheerleaders, drill team, coaches, opposing teams and referees. Also, keep your conversations at a “G” rating. There are several small children with big ears, and foul language can be quite offensive to other fans around you.
DISD has conditionally allowed our teams use of their facilities free of charge for the most part. However, district can revoke the use of them at any time if we don’t respect policies and regulations set by the school district, City of Dickinson and State of Texas.
• It is strictly prohibited to smoke tobacco/marijuana, dip or chew tobacco, drink alcohol and/or use illegal drugs on all school grounds. This includes parking lots and inside your vehicle parked on school grounds.
• During practice, NO parking in any area other than the parking lot. This includes no parking on the grassy areas or along the curb of Caroline Street (no parking signs are clearly posted). For safety reasons, park your car and walk up to get your child after practice. It is very dangerous for your child to be crossing the street by themselves. Also, drivers, when backing up or leaving out the parking lot, please keep an eye out for children & other pedestrians walking. We are all eager to get home, but it’s more important to always use caution and assure the safety of our children first.
• Please pick up any and all trash you see left behind on school property, including parking lots. TIFI Dickinson Booster Club assured DISD that all trash will be picked up. This is a huge responsibility and desperately welcome volunteers for additional assistance.
TIFI policies:
• NCAA rule book (rule 1, section 2), spectators are to be in the designated spectator area only. Persons associated with the operation of the TIFI game, drill or cheer are permitted on the field.
• There are no animals allowed within 100 yards of any TIFI field. With an exception of working animals for the police and handicap, and only if under the direct control by their owner. Regardless of the pet’s size, this is a huge safety issue.
Any person(s) who violate these rules will be fined $100 and/or asked to leave by the TIFI Club. TIFI Dickinson Booster Club will not pay any of these fines, which means the club will bill the violator(s).
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and good sportsmanship.

Simple tips for having a good game and season:
1) Always have a good night's rest.
2) Eat a light, healthy breakfast before games.
3) Properly keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water &/or sports drinks such as *Gatorade. However, during practice and games drink only enough to quench the thirst to prevent stomach and leg cramps.
4) Stay away from salty junk food, caffeinated soft drinks/sodas, and sugary snacks and juices. Eating unhealthy foods will only cause you to get tired faster and greatly increases your chances of getting heat exhaustion during practice and/or games.
