EYAA Winter Basketball Registration 2009-2010
I would like to announce Epsom EYAA will be joining the Lamprey River Basketball League (www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=lampreyriverbball) again this basketball season, grades 3-6.
Divisions for this league are:
- Developmental Division – 3rd & 4th grade for both boys and girls
- 5th & 6th grade for both boys and girls
Commitment:
We will be having practice one night a week (6:30pm-7:45pm , days to be determined) & Saturdays (times to be determined) until the games start, then practice one night a week and the games on Saturdays during the season.
K-2nd Grade:
We will be having a developmental clinic on Saturday mornings for this age group, typically for one hour (times to be determined).
Registrations:
You can register on line by going to www.leaguelineup.com/handouts.asp?cmenuid=17&url=eyaa&sid=926381867. Print and fill out the registration form and mail it in with a check for the following amount:
- K-2nd grade…$25.00
- 3-6 grade…$50.00
I have a few volunteers for the K-2nd grade clinics already, but at this age the more volunteers the better. We are still looking for a coach for the 5th-6th grade girl’s team. If you are interested in this position, please contact me by phone or e-mail below.

EYAA Membership Meeting
The next monthly EYAA Membership Meeting will be held at the Epsom Public Library located on Rt 4 East of the traffic circle. The meeting will commence Tuesday, December 1st at 7pm. Hope to see you there!

Am I a Member?
Just a quick reminder to all and a welcome to newcomers. If you have a child enrolled in our organization, you are now an official member of EYAA. This membership does come with some strings attached. EYAA strives to provide quality athletic programs to Epsom kids. We also do our best to keep the registration cost down. In order for this trend to continue, we need your participation and commitment. EYAA is a non-profit organization. Administration, coaching, fundraising, field maintenance & improvements are all volunteer based opportunities that we need our members to be involved with. Mom's & Dad's, a little nervous to coach? That's o.k. There are many ways to get involved in an organization that benefits your child. Field maintenance is a great way to get the family up and going bright and early! It has also proven to promote a good work ethic and community pride in the kids who have assisted in maintaining their hometown fields. If you would like to get involved, please do not wait to be asked. I am asking you now to contact an EYAA Officer and let them know how you would like to contribute to your organization.
We are searching for 2 extraordinary motivated individuals with a positive "can do" attitude. EYAA has 2 officer vacancies which we would like to fill in the upcoming months.
- Vice President: primary duties include assisting the President and special assignments by the Board of Directors.
- General Sports Commissioner: primary duties include overseeing and working with all sports commissioners, equipment inventory & purchases, awards and photography scheduling.
- Coordinators: Fundraising, Concessions, Field Maintenance
If you have an interest in jumping in with both feet, or even testing the water, we welcome you to join us at a monthly membership meeting. Our next meeting will be held at the Epsom Public Library Wednesday October 28th at 7pm. This will give you an opportunity to meet the Board and see the nuts and bolts of the organization. Please contact me prior to the meeting if you are interested and I will inform you of qualifications and field any questions you may have. Also, if you are new to our organization and the above seems like too big of a step... give me a call or send an email to me if you would like to get involved.
