The Player of the Week is a designation and recognition given to a player whose stand out contributions attributed to the score of the game. The Player is chosen by the coaches, and announced at dinner on Thursday nights, where the player is presented with a plaque. Their name is also engraved on another plaque, listed along with other players for the season, that is hung along the wall to the locker rooms beside recipients from past years.
