This is definitely one topic that is so crucial in any childs performance on or off the field. The challenge that most parents face in the TASTE vs HIGH OCTANE ENERGY foods. A battle that many parents have with kids.
So what should you be feeding your kids before a practice/game?
What type of drink should I be sending with my child to a practice/game?
Nutrition may be broken down into 3 sections:
Before Game - Foods that provide energy that can be stored for awhile
During Game - Foods that provide quick, fast energy
After Game - Foods that help replenish nutrients and build damage tissue
