Section 5         12U - Ages 11 - 12

A.        Playing time in this League is 1(one) hour and 45(forty-five) minutes, or 7(seven) innings, whichever comes first. Run rule is 10 after 5.

B.        All players must play 6(six) defensive outs and have at least 1(one) at bat except in the case of a run rule or rain delay. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of that game.

C.        3(three) inning game: All players must play 3(three) defensive outs and 1(one) at bat.

               D.        Allowed only 3(three) coaches on the field or in the dugout.

                                                Penalty: Head Coach suspended for next game.

E.         Batting will be round robin, open substitutions (except for pitchers), an out will be taken only if team drops below 9(nine) players.

F.         Coaches must notify scorekeepers of pitching substitutions.

G.        It is recommended that all players wear a protective cup.   

H.        The pitching rubber is 50(fifty) feet from home plate.

                        1.         Bases are at 70(seventy) feet.

I.          Pitchers may not pitch more than 7(three) innings in a day. If said pitches pitches 3 (three) innings must have 40(forty) hours rest. Pitchers may not pitch more than 10(ten) innings in 1(one) week.
