HURRICANES WIN OWENSBORO TOURNAMENT
The Hurricanes win 4 of 5 in Owensboro.
Tournament finish 1ST. See "Records" for
scores.
Also Monday night the Hurricanes beat the
Lyndon Cobra's 16-6. Middletown Competitive
League record is now 6W-3L.
After an 8W-8L start the Hurricanes have
won 15 of the last 20 games. Season record
23W-13L, way to go guys!

Oilers will play in the 2nd game no
matter how they are seeded because of
a Church commitment that day.

Tournament Rules:
1. 14u, 7 innings or 1hr 50 min with
no new inning after 1hr 40 min.
2. Home team determined by coin toss.
3.Pitching limit: 10 innings entire
tournament.
4.Courtesy runner for pitcher and catcher
any time. Runner must not be in game.
If no such player is available last out
will be used.
5. 10 run rule after 4 1/2 complete with
home team leading.
6.Games can end in a tie during pool play,
must have a winner in championship round.
7. Teams must furnish 2 new game balls per
game, good quality please.
8. E H will be allowed, no D H.
9. Birth Certificates must be available upon
request, players must be 14 or younger to
play in tournament.
10. The contact rule is in effect at all
times. Runners mustslide or try to
avoid the tag. Any player that tries to
take a player out will be ejected from the
game and the rest of the tournament, the
umpires decision will be final.
11. Rain out rule... If no games start, you
will be refunded 150.00 with the
remaining 50.00 to be used for expenses.
12. No food or drink will be allowed in park,
Coaches are responsible for their fans.
