The rubber flooring material has arrived and is currently staged in the varsity locker room. Installation is scheduled for Friday, December 14 and should be complete at the end of the day. Before the installers can put down the flooring, the following things must be done on Wednesday night after our home game or on Thursday.
Wednesday (Dec-12) :
Everything in the coach's office must be moved. This can be put into the storage area next to our cabinets or staged in the shower area.
Everything in the bathroom must be moved into the shower area.
Everything in the varsity locker room must be cleaned out. Smaller items can be put along the wall inside the wood framework while larger items can go into the storage area or in the shower area.
All player/coaches gear and bags will need to go home on Wednesday night as they will not have access to the locker room so we can prepare the floor.
Thursday (Dec-13) :
The floors in the bathroom, office and both locker rooms will need to be scraped if there are any large spots of mortar, should not be much, but needs to be checked.
The floor needs to be vacuumed in all areas so we have no dirt and dust.
There will be a gallon of degreaser that should be mixed with water. The floors will need to be scrubbed and mopped as dry as possible. Start in the bathroom and work out so there is no more traffic once cleaned.
Lockers
We are still waiting on delivery of the lockers this week. If they arrive, plan on installing them on Saturday morning starting at 9:00 AM.
