Welcome to the site of the Jay County Panthers, we are a minor league football team based out of Portland, Indiana. In 2009 the Jay county Panthers played in the GIFA and won the West Division Championship finishing our first season with a 8-4 record in 20010 we struggled with a final record of 2-8 since the end of our 2010 campaign and in 2011 in the AFL we finished 4-6, we have had tons of interest and recruited many new players and many players returning We are currently recruiting for the 2012 football season. We have already began workouts and lifting preparing for when the "Purple Panther Attack" hits the field in 2012.
