We have added the Registration Flyer for the 2013 Season to our handouts section. It is gearing up to be a great season! So mark your calendars and register early to get on the roster. We are only 4 months away from the beginning of the season. Look for announcements about pre-season conditioning in your inbox and on our Facebook page.

We are currently re-vamping our cheer program to provide a rewarding experience and to foster a love of cheer.  Doing this means we need to find cheer coaches with some cheer or dance experience.  If you know of someone who would have an interest volunteering their time and having the rewarding experience of coaching youth, please let them know we are looking and pass along our contact information.  A Coach Application will need to be completed and returned.

Kent Youth Football & Cheer started a program a couple years ago called “Cleats for Kids”.  We gather gently-used football cleats from kids that have outgrown them.

The cleats will be cleaned, re-distributed and sold at a fraction of their original cost to the participants in the coming season’s youth football league. All proceeds will benefit the program.

We will be gathering the “used” cleats at registrations or by calling 330-842-9595. You may also drop them off in a plastic shopping bag to 1459 Mogadore Road, Kent, Ohio. Place the tied bag on the front porch.

So clean out those closets and at the same time you will be helping the kids of Kent Youth Football!
