    EGYSL Run-up score Policy:

For the U06-U08 age groups: If a team is down by 4 goals, they may add 1 additional player. If they are down by 6 goals, they may add 2 additional players. Once the score is within 4 goals again, they must remove 1 player. Once the score is within 2 goals they must remove the extra players and play even.

For the U09-U14 age groups, teams are encouraged to play “ball-control” if they ever get up by 4 or more goals.

Also of note: Please DO NOT move your best players from the offense if you are up back to goalie or defense. What good does that do to the team getting crushed? Now you make it nearly impossible for them to score. The best thing to do is take your best player and have him/her settle into a "ball control passing" game. Have them work on triangle passing or 5 players must at least touch the ball before any shots can be made. Get creative. This not only helps there not be a run-up score but it furthers the positive development of your players for the future through the use of a controlled passing game. Plus it fosters good sportsmanship.

Scores need to be emailed in by 9:00pm the night of the game to the LCSC Scorekeeper

All age groups need to send in there scores for all league games played

If your team is the first game of the day you need to be at the field 30 minutes before game time
and are responsible for putting the nets and flags up.

If your team has the last game of the day on our home field.  Please return the nets, flags and equipment
to the address on the equipment bag (a current schedule is attached to the bag)

Do not remove the U STAKES from the GOALS!

Coaches, Players and Parents need to remember to set a good example for the kids
and show good sportsmanship at each game.
Please pickup the trash after every game and keep our parks an schools clean.

Thank you and have a fun & great season of Soccer!
