Off season conditioning
Off season conditioning plays a vital role in our preparation for the football season. All players should arrive to the 1st practice in shape. DO NOT use the start of the season to begin the conditioning process.
Below is a list of activities that will help with your conditioning:
running 1-2 miles per day.
40 yard sprints.
light weight training. (medicine balls work well).
push ups (goal is 100 by September 1st).
sit ups (goal is 50 by Setember 1st).
Find a hill to run (Laurelton Pardee School is perfect).
No matter what sport you play conditioning is a MUST. If you begin in middle school you will be conditioning your body to excell at a varsity sport. Be BIGGER,FASTER & STRONGER than your competition.
