Thank you to all who shopped at Modell's and supported Old Bridge East Little League!

The Laurence Harbor Little League is always undergoing changes to make it the best possible league for our children.  We have decided to change our name to Old Bridge East Little League because our boundaries have been expanded and now includes Madison Park.  Our full area touches the communities of Cheesequake Madison Park, Laurence Harbor, Cliffwood Beach & Matawan-Aberdeen. The Executive Board decided that changing the name to Old Bridge East Little League better defines the area from which children can participate in our league.  We will always be the Laurence Harbor complex just with an updated name.  Our hopes are that the expanded area will attract more children, enabling more teams to be created at the complex.  As always, we look forward to a successful and enjoyable season in 2013.  

ACCOMPLISHMENTS.....2012 IN REVIEW

• Return of Girls Softball to LHLL
• Free training clinics provided to registered players (80% participation)
• Mandated training and safety certification for all Managers and Coaches
• Teams in every division, with increased registration by 40% vs. 2011
• Improved league communications via website, email and optional text alert service
• Multiple facility improvements completed, including repair and/or replacement of playing field bases, fencing, dugout roofs, bleachers, as well as the addition of notable 100+ tons of infield mix/dirt
• Fundraising efforts resulted in upgrades/replacements of much needed field maintenance and grooming equipment
• New league logo, team uniforms and fan apparel
• Installed security camera monitoring system throughout complex
• Removed extensive overgrowth surrounding complex, repaired underground piping to fields and upgraded bathrooms
