TCS World Series
July 21, 2008 --
Vipers Qualified to play in National Tournament!
We played ball in one of the most beautiful locations in the country. Nestled amongst the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and sitting at about 6000 ft elevation is the majestic community of Steamboat Springs. The Vipers created life long memories while playing national caliber teams from across the United States. Parents and fans enjoyed the World Series games and had fun doing of all the activities the Yampa Valley of Colorado has to offer.
The boys competed in skills contests including long ball hitting, accuracy throwing, running, and "around the horn". Adan Contreras placed 2nd in the accuracy throwing. The Vipers played a lot of baseball during the tournament. The players are gunning to qualify to compete here again next year.
