January 5, 2009  --   The holidays are over and lots to do. Got word this past week we got a Redline Cup Qualifier on July 18th. This is a big deal for Marble City BMX. First things first, we are having a meeting on Janurary 15th at 7:00pm @ the Sylacauga Rec center. We will be getting the 09 schedule set, and plan the up coming season. So please make plans to come. Call me if you have any questions.
In the forum Bradley BMX let us know that their schedule for 09 is done. I linked their web site on our link page. Cleveland, TN is only 3 two 4 hours trip from our track. The great about BMX racing is that you can go to any ABA track and have fun. So try to plan a trip and support other ABA tracks around us. They have come and supported us.
Check back for updates, and as always call or email me for any questions you may have. Tell a friend.

March 10, 2009  --   Opening day went great. We had 5 motos with 18 total riders. 4 of them your brand new riders. Big hand to all who came out. Another thanks to HRP Designs for the district plates. Everyone came and got theirs execpt for the following riders.
1 WILLIAM HILL, 4 DAVID LOFTIN, 5 FRANCISCO VEGA, 6 WELLINGTON CANNON
If you talk to any of these riders let them know that i have their district plate. The plates turned out great and they look really good on the track.
Also we have delayed the raffling off of the Intense bike that we started saling tickets for back in December. We will draw the winning ticket at the next race we have after the re-build. Tickets are still for sale, $1- 1 ticket, $5- 10 tickets, and $10- 20 tickets.
Like always if you have any question, call me or email.

March 25, 2009  --   The track is re-built. but we still have alot of these to do before we can race again, lots of racking and dragging. the more people we have to come out and lend a hand the quicker we can get back to racing.
These that have changed on the track: 1st straight, 1st turn, 2nd straight, 3rd straight, and 4th straight. So come out to see the changes.

July 6, 2009  --   I know it has been a long time since I posted and I am sorry. Things have been crazy in life outside of BMX. I had to find a job, did that, had to take on more responsibility in my church with Pastor having health issue, issues have been fix. So know should be able to put more focus back on Marble City BMX. With that said, big weekend is coming. We will have a work day on July 11th starting around 8 or 9 am. The concession has been handled; Andy Tyler and family will be providing concessions. Remember to continue to raise money for the Race for Life on July 17th. You will be turning in your moneys then. Also, this is open to anybody; you do not have to hold an ABA license to race in the Race for Life.
Big points for this weekend, double point ($20), triple point ($30), and double point ($20). Please note the cost per rider/race is more than a normal single point. We will also be raffling off a 12” Redline bike on Saturday the 18th and holding 50/50 drawings each race. Our goal for this weekend is to have fun and have good racing. As always call me if you have any questions.

November 2, 2009  --   We hate that we have to cancelled the rest of the 2009 season at the the buzzard, but there is nothing we can do about it. The track is soaked to the point that it can not drain off. We will be coming up with a plan for the next 4 months to get the track and the facility to top notch conditions. So keep checking back for more info.
Now the 2009 point season has not ended and you still have time to get point for the 2009 season. December 15th is the cut-off date for points. Check Weaver BMX, Circle City BMX, and the other ABA tracks closest to you to find a race. Like always call me or email me if you have any question.
