    Twisters fall to Hot Shots
March 29, 2008  --   On a cold, windy, sunny day at Walker, the Twisters out played the Plainedge Hots Shots. The good positioning and good team work did not help this talented team. The Twisters fall to the Hot Shots 3-1. The lone Twister goal scored by Melisa was a beautiful cross pass from teammate Kelle. Other cross passes were placed in front of the Hot Shot net but the Twisters could not capitalize. The defenders did a good job keeping the Hot Shots out of the Twister defensive zone but when they did get down there the Hot Shots made the Twisters pay. Shake it off Twisters and we will get them next time. Keep up the good passing, changing of the field and solid defense. Fancy foot work by Casey, Elizabeth and Gabriella. Good hustle by Brianna, Christina and Autumn. Long ball kicks by Melissa and Micheala. Good effort by goalies Amanda and Katie.
