Geary to play in Omaha
Junior Bryan Geary has been selected by the Baseball Factory to play in the Omaha Slumpbuster tournament presented by Triple Crown Sports. The tournament will take place from June 20th through 27th in Omaha, Nebraska and will feature players from throughout the country. The Baseball Factory is based in Maryland. It's major sponsors include Under Armour, Don Mattingly Baseball and Baseball America. Details will be posted as they become available.

Senior Bryan Geary has been accepted at Skidmore College in Saratoga, NY. Geary, a middle infielder, will be a member of the Thoroughbred's baseball team. Skidmore is a NCAA Division 3 program and plays in the Liberty League

Several Milton baseball players have been honored for outstanding play by the Colchester Cannons legion baseball program. Bryan Geary was selected team MVP, Junior Matt Goulet was named Rookie of the Year and Senior Jeremy Peet was named Gold Glove winner for the 2008 season. Goulet and Peet will be mainstays again this season for the 'Jackets, Geary has moved on to Skidmore College where he is a member of the baseball team. All three will return to the Cannons for the 2009 season.

Milton Alumni prepares for first season at the College of St. Rose
2006 Milton graduate Nate Ward is preparing for his first season with the College of St. Rose Golden Knights. MHS players involved in summer baseball
Several current and former Yellow Jacket's played in the Colchester Cannons Legion baseball program this past summer. 2005 graduates Scott Dennis and Brad Riddle, 2006 graduate Nate Ward and junior Bryan Geary played for the very successful Cannons senior team. Sophomores Alex Duchesneau and Kyle McRae played key roles for the Junior Cannons. Check the Cannons web site (see the links page) to see stats and game results.

Two MHS players selected as top ten in the state
2006 graduate Nate Ward and Junior Bryan Geary were selected by Varsity NE Magazine as two of the top ten players in the state. Ward who now attends The College of St. Rose in Albany was number four on the list. Geary was ranked ninth. The article appears in the Summer 2006 issue of the magazine.
