Registration Information
Registration Process Details
Registration for the 2009 season will take place early in the new year. Details regarding our registration sessions will be posted on our website once the logistics have been confirmed.
The first registration session will take place Saturday, February 28th. Look for the Warriors booth at Square One, near Old Navy, as we participate in the Mississauga Sports Week show. 2009 registrations will also be processed each Sunday at winter Camp.
If you have any questions regarding the registration process or payment arrangements, please contact the Registrar, Cathie Sherritt as soon as posiible. Do not wait until the deadline!
(Late registrations (e.g. for players that are attending university out of town) will be processed at other dates / times to be announced.)
Age Eligibilty:
Ontario Varsity Football League ( OVFL )
Peewee - 14 and under as of May 31st, 2009
Junior Varsity - 16 and under as of May 31st, 2009
Varsity - 19 and under as of May 31st, 2009
Ontario Minor Football League ( OMFL )
Please note the addition of the Tyke division and the change to the age eligibilty dates for the OMFL
Tyke (NEW)- born in 1998, 1999 and 2000
Atom - born in 1996 and 1997
OMFL Peewee - born in 1994 and 1995
OMFL Junior Varsity - born in 1991, 1992 and 1993
Residence Eligibility / Boundaries:
In order to be eligible to play for the Warriors, you must be a Mississauga resident. (The first three characters of your postal code would be L4T L4V L4W L4Y L4Z L5A L5B L5C L5E L5G L5H L5J L5K L7L L5M L5N L5P L5R L5S L5T L5V or L5W. Note: There may be other postal codes in Mississauga that are not on this list.)
If you live outside of Mississauga, you may be eligible to play for the Warriors if you reside in an "open territory" (i.e. in an area not designated to another OVFL organization). Contact the team Registrar to confirm your eligibilty status.
There are no weight restrictions in the OVFL or OMFL.
Equipment will be handed out about mid-April at the conclusion of our Winter Camp programme.
Equipment will not be given to players unless they are completely registered and their fees have been paid in full.
