Two Mt Vernon Lions wrestlers placed in the USGWA & USBWA National Championships held this past weekend at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Dawson Thomas captured a First place trophy for weight class 3, in the Boys Elementary School division while his older sister Ambrozia Thomas earned a Seventh place medal in the 105lb Girls Middle School division.
Good job Lions wrestlers!
