N.E.O. DYNAMITE BASKETBALL WINS SOLON CAGE CLASSIC
The N.E.O. Dynamite girls AAU basketball team won the Solon Cage Classic Basketball tournament in fine fashion on Sunday April 13th. The Dynamite started pool play in the tournament with a loss, losing to the SMAC Nets 36-24. The Dynamite would bounce back winning the next two pool games against TNBA West 28-23 and the Lady Bearcats 47-10 to finish pool play with a record of (2-1). In the playoffs, the Dynamite defeatd two Pennslyvania teams to make it to the championship, in a rematch against the SMAC Nets. The Dynamite used a combination of tenacious defense and great rebounding to make the game a blowout, winning by the score of 42-20. Congratulations to the girls and to Coach Meneer for a job well done in our first tournament.GO DYNAMITE
DYNAMITE STARTS TOURNAMENT PLAY WITH A BANG
The N.E.O. DYNAMITE started the 2008 tournament season off on a good note. Playing in the Diamond Dog Classic, the Dynamite finished (3-0) in pool play defeating the Summit Rage 6-5, the Ohio Emeralds 3-1 and Poland Pride 3-1. Timely hitting and a strong defense were keys to earning the #1 seed in the playoffs. On Sunday, rain put out the fuse on the Dynamite and a coin flip determined our fate, losing the flip in the semi-final round. Although the coin did not land in our favor, we still earned a berth to the Nationals. Great job ladies in your first tourney as "TEAM DYNAMITE"
RUNNER UP FINISH FOR THE DYNAMITE AT THE AKRON SLAM
Bad weather and a slow start did not stop the Dynamite from taking 2nd place @ the Akron Slam Series Tournament at Firestone Stadium. After fridays game was cancelled due to rain the Dynamite started pool play on Saturday morning against the Road Runners losing 8-0. In the second game the Dynamite played the Wadsworth Grizzlies. Leading most of the game the Grizzlies would come back to win the contest in the last inning 4-3. In the final game of the day, the Dynamite ended on a winning note by defeating the Summit Rage 2-1. Sunday the Dynamite squared off against the Grizzlies in the semi-final, but would return the favor as the Dynamite scored 3 runs in their last at bat to win the contest 7-6. With the win the Dynamite faced Road Runners in the Championship game. After 4 innings with no score the Road Runners would finally win the contest 7-0.

North Ridgeville Summer Classic Champs
Runner-up Finish at Valley Extreme
The NEO Dynamite took 2nd place @ the Valley Extreme Fall Tournament losing to the Valley Extreme in the championship. The Dynamite went (3-0) in pool play defeating the Ohio Ice 8-2, Valley Extreme-Red 9-1 and the Ohio Pride 13-0 to claim the top seed in the tournament. On Sunday, the Dynamite would play the Pride again defeating them 10-0 and then would beat the Tigerlillies 5-1 to make it to the championship game. GREAT JOB by all the girls.

DYNAMITE AAU BASKETBALL TEAM
The Dyanmite finished their 2009 6th grade AAU basketball season by winning the Midwest Spring Slam. The girls finished with a 17-5 record playing in 5 tournaments with 2 championships, 1 runner up and a 3rd place finish. The 3rd place finish was @ the Wooster Classic in which the girls played in the 7th grade division and finished with a (3-1) record. GREAT JOB DYNAMITE!!!!!!!!!
