    2006 NOMBL All Star Game
    2006 NOMBL All-Stars announced tonight at 8pm

After all the ballots have been counted and all votes are in for the 2006 NOMBL Mid-summer Classic, surely there will be one of the strongest All-star squads ever to be assembled in semi-pro baseball. The Northern Ohio league is filled with young, raw and powerful talent from around the state, accompanied by veterans who know the game and how to play it the right way.

The contest, which will be played against the Greater Akron AA league, will see the NOMBL’s top two managers taking the helm side by side. Dave Skapes of the Cleveland Bruins (12-1) and Tim Janos of the Westlake Titans (10-4) are the managers for the inaugural event. Both managers will choose their coaching staff, after the votes are tallied and the teams are announced.

The Roster for the 2006 All Star game will be announced tonight at 8 o clock pm

THE CLEVELAND BRUINS ARE NOMBL CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to Manager Dave Skapes and the Cleveland Bruins on their League Championship! The Bruins defeated the Strongsville Ohio Lightning by a score of 6-5 to take home their first ever league championship!

The Bruins qualified for the AABC state tournament in Warren, Ohio and went on to face some of the states best ball clubs. The Bruins, were sent home early as they were a bit shorthanded in the State playoffs but finished their season with an outstanding overall record of 23-3 for the 2006 season! Congratulations goes out to the entire Bruins team on their great season!
