    Played at State Road Park, Parma, Ohio and Maplewood Fields Cleveland, Ohio
    Ages: 8u Coach Pitch, 8u Player Pitch, 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u

    Greater Cleveland Classic Tournament
    Greater Cleveland Classic will be held at Puritas Maplewood Fields in Cleveland, Ohio.

    Maplewood Fields have 6 fields, with a full playground for the kids, full concession stand and restrooms.

    Cost: $200
    Ages: 8u,9u,10u,11u,12u,13u,14u
    Teams pay umpires $40 per game.

    Tournament will supply the balls and 1st and 2nd place trophies.

    Stars win Cvba Tourney Opener
    The 8u Stars won their opening game in the League Tournament over Amherst 7 to 3. Great pitching and timely hitting dominated the game. The Stars will continue their quest for the crown on Saturday at 10am at Medina Reagan Park #3 vs Medina. The Stars split the regular season with Medina as the winner of the game advances to the Tournament Semifinals which are at 2:15 on Field # 2 in Medina, then the finals are at 4:15pm so it will be a long day in Medina.

    Stars split a pair during the weekend
    The 8u Stars Split a pair this weekend. A lost to Medina 9 to 8 on Friday night with a 5 run 6th inning we came up just a little short. On Sunday the Stars won 24 to 2 over Bay Village. The Stars finish the regular season with a game at State Road Park #6 vs Olmsted Falls. at 6pm on Tuesday.



    Stars win 2 in a Row.
    The 8u Stars win their second game in a row 33 to 5 vs Brunswick. The Stars went down 5 runs in the 1st and then went on the attack. Our next game is Thursday July 6th at Brecksville.

    Stars win at North Royalton
    The 8u Stars won a tight game at North Royalton 4 to 3 Monday Night. Another exciting game with the bat of Greg Jesionek carrying the team, and great pitching by Griff, Ryan and to close the game Josh. Well pitched and good defense equals a victory. The Stars play at Brunswick tuesday June 26th at 6:30pm.

    The 8u Stars had a 3 to 2 lead going into the last inning and could not hold on to the lead as the Stallions Blue put a 6 spot on the board. The Stars next game is Monday at 8:15pm vs North Royalton. The loss puts the Stars at 14 and 4 in the league, in 3rd place.

    Stars Advance to Semifinals
    The 8u Stars continued their winning ways with a 11-6 victory over Westlake to advance to the semi's. The 8u Stars play at 9am and if they win they play at 1:30pm. Come out and watch the Stars play some great baseball

    Exciting Night in North Royalton
    It was the first night game of the year, and the 8u Stars were down to 9 players. Those 9 boys played their hearts out for 6 innings in a exciting and heart pumping 9 to 6 win over a tough Stallions White team. It was another game where the 1st inning jitters were back, but the bats came alive and the pitchers got fired up and Coach Izzy got soaked by the Water Cooler. Great game and now the 8u Stars are 2-0 in poll play in the N.Royalton Father's Day Tournament. the 8u Stars play at 6pm at North Royalton York Rd Fields at 6pm vs Westlake. Come out and watch som egreat Baseball I'M NOT KIDDING THESE BOYS CAN PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!

    Stars win a close one in Amherst
    The 8u Stars continued to play good baseball by defeating a good Amherst team 10-8 on Thursday. The Stars are in the North Royalton Fathers Day Tournament this weekend. They play at 8pm on Friday night vs Stallions White at 8pm and Saturday at 6pm vs Westlake. Good Luck Boys this weekend.

    Stars 8u earn Respect at Pickerington 9u NIT
    With the thunder in the air and the unknown in the sky, the Stars 8u took the field in Pickerington Ohio in their NIT tournament. 2 games on Friday and 2 on Saturday after playing in their busiest weeks of the year. The 8u Stars went 0 and 4 in the tourney. It was an experience that these boys will not forget. From staying at the pool to 11:30pm on Friday Night and getting up at 7:45am to get to the field and then playing the best game that I have ever seen against the Strongsville Mustangs. In which we lost 15-10. I want to thank John Baker, Brett Lowther and Brad Smith for joing our team this past weekend as their contributions were awesome. Also The atmosphere at that last game as other teams were standing by the fences watching our game like it was like the World Series and watching and Listening to the boys "LETS GET FIRED UP CHANT" and the Parent Section "LOUDVILLE" Literally!!!!It was awesome, HIT after HIT, Play after Play. Comments from the crowd were "these boys are HOW OLD? AMAZING" That is all I can say is "AMAZING" and PROUD TO BE THEIR COACH.

    Stars Split going into Memorial Day Weekend
    The 8u Stars split their two league games this week. The first game was a tough loss verse Olmsted Falls 5 to 1. Stars battled throughout but was limited to a season low 2 hits. Pitching was not the issue in this game as the defense committed as season high 7 errors. The boys recovered with a 12 to 7 win vs North Royalton. The 8u Stars are now 10 and 2 in the CVBA and 13 and 4 overrall. The 8u Stars will again be tested this weekend in the Stronsgville 9u Memorial National Tournament. GOOD LUCK BOYS THIS WEEKEND

    Stars Finish in 3rd Place in PYBA Tourney
    The 8u Stars gained some respect this weekend as they battled in the PYBA Tourney. The First game was exciting as the 8u Stars came from behind to win a nail biter 4 to 3 over a good Aurora 9u Team. Great Pitching and Defense were key to the game. The second game was one to forget as still excited about the game before the 8u stars fell to Puritas 9u 15 to 8. Advancing to the Semi-Finals they took on Twinsburg Tigers 9u. The 8u Stars took a 1 to 0 lead into the 4th inning and could not hang on to the lead but played as well as a team could play as the bats were silent but there was plenty of crowd noise of the great pitching and some fantastic plays all around the diamond. Be proud 8u Stars and Congratulations.

    Stars Make it to the Semifinals in PYBA Tourney
    The 8u Stars advance to the semifinals with a 4 to 3 victory over Aurora 9u. Then lost to Puritas All Stars 15 to 8. With the tiebreakers the Stars adavance to Play Twinsburg 9u at State Road #5 at 9am. Good Luck Boys and Congratulations

    Stars Continue their Winning Ways
    Pitching, Pitching, Pitching has been the theme for this years team. Great Pitching and good Defense equals a very successfull team. Ian Mckinney, Josh Waite and Big Ben Revay threw an outstanding game verse the Mustangs. Stars beat the Mustangs 8 to 1. The 8u Stars will be challenged this weekend in the 9u PYBA Tournament at State Road Park. COme out and watch as the Stars open up Tourney play on Saturday 10:45am and 12:30pm at State Road Park #5. Good Luck Boys tonight at the Captains game and this weekend.

    Stars Win with Defense
    The 8u Stars continue there great pitching and defense.With a 5 to 1 win over Amherst the stars improve their league reacord to 8 and 1 and overall 10 and 2. Taylor and Brendan pitched great with a awesome defense behind them making amazing plays. Josh waite came up huge with 3 running catches and almost turned 2 at SS. and came up with 2 huge hits including a triple. Good Job boys and come out and watch our next game on Thursday at State Road Park #5 at 6pm. Also the 8u Stars will be running out on the field with the LAKE COUNTY CAPTAINS on Friday Night. Hsve a great time boys.




    MOTHERS DAY DELIGHT
    The Stars 8u Team gave their moms a great Mother's day gift with a 19 to 11 victory on the road in Strongsville. The Stars brought the hitting sticks with 18 hits, including a 4 for 4 with a Home-Run by Kyle Lyon. Once again a big key was the defense as Brian Kestranek had a web gem, and Ben Revay had 2 with a running catch in Left field and a great throw to home from left to to Brendan Santiago at Catcher to throw out a would be tying runner. GReat job Boys and COme out and Watch our next game at State Road Park #5 on Tuesday.

    Stars Rebound with a Win
    The Stars 8u team rebounded with a 6 to 2 victory over Westlake. The team effort was led by a great overrall perfomance by our defense. Another Errorless game and great pitching by Brendan,Jared and Josh Waite. With the game tied going into the 4th inning, the Stars came up with two great Bunts by Brendan and Jacob. The 4- run inning was capped off by a huge Sac Fly by Ryan Dedo. Good Job Stars and come out and watch the Boys at Strongsville Surrarer Park on the corner of Webster and Whitney Roads on Mothers Day at 11:15am. Good Luck Boys!

    Stars Lose in Extra Innings
    Stars 8u lose their 1st league game in extra innings Monday vs Brecksville 4 to 3. It was a great game with great pitching and defense throughout the game. Stars were winning 3 to 1 going into the top of the 6th Brecksville punched in 2 runs to tie the game and then scored 1 run in the top of the 7th to seal the victory. The Stars came up with 5 hits total for the game. Come out and watch the Stars try to rebound vs Westlake on Wes. May 9th at State Road Park at 6pm.

    Stars finish week 4-0
    Stars 8u finsh a busy week undefeated by beating Bay 27-0. Jared started the game pitching with 2 scoreless innings and Greg and Brian went to the hill for the first time this season and pitched scoreless innnings in relief. The bats were still hot as the Stars banged out 22 hits. 8u Stars get a well deserved 3 off days. They are in action on Monday at 6pm at State Road Park verse Brecksville Bees. Come out and watch some great baseball by these young guys.

    Stars Bring in May with a Bang
    Stars 8u team continue to play good baseball. Pitching and good defense contributed to the Stars third victory in a row. The bats were still hot as the team totaled 12 hits. Jacob Stys came off the bench with a big 2 out 2 run single for his first hit of the season. Griff, Taylor and Big Ben Revay closed out the game as the Stars 8u will try to complete a busy week tomorrow verse Bay Village at State Road Park #6 at 6pm. Keep up the good Work Boys!!

    Stars win 2 in a Row.
    The Stars 8u Baseball team defeated Mdina Sting 10 to 3 at State Road park. Brendan Santiago and Kyle Lyon did an outstanding job on the hill. The bats continued to sizzle as every player hit the ball and every player advanced runners. The Stars banged out 12 hits. The defense was outstanding with Ryan Dedo looking smooth at 3rd base on a play, and Brian Kestranek with a diving web gem catch, Griff Lubowicz with a headsup play as he was backing the throw up as the catcher and tagged the runner out as that preserved the lead at the time. Overrall the team is starting to take shape and playing good baseball. The busy week continues on Weds vs Brunswick at State Road Park #5 or 6, makeup game on Thursday vs Bay at State Road Park #6. Come out and enjoy some great baseball. Support the 9u Stars team as they open up league play at State Road Park #5 at 6pm on Tuesday May 1st. Go Stars..



    The Bats Come alive in Strongsville
    The 8u Stars enjoyed the beautiful weather with an amazimg 17 hits. The team was led by Griff Lubowicz. I also want to congratulate Brian Kestranek, and Josh Waite on their first hits of the season. The Stars are in action tonight at home verse Medina Sting at State Road Park at 6pm. Come out and enjoy some baseball.

    Stars win Home Opener
    Congratulations to the Stars 8u on winning the home opener 8 to 3. It was a great team effort, led by the super pitching of Taylor, Josh and Ryan. The defense was outstanding as many players made a play. The most underappreciated postion is the catchers especially in the cold, protecting the umpire, giving good targets to the pitcher. Good job Kyle,Brendan,Brent,Ian. The team pounded out 8 hits, led by Griff, Kyle. Great job Stars and keep up the good work. The Stars play in their own tournament this weekend, when they open up on Friday verse Westalke at 6pm at State Road Park #6. Come out and watch some exciting baseball
