PEABODY is heading to the LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES!

As some of you may or may not know, a fortunate group of 12 youngsters from Peabody have won the Eastern Regional Little League Tournament and are now headed to Williamsport , Pennsylvania to represent New England !

It is the dream of many kids and one that our team is very excited to be participating in.

In order to help defray the costs for these children and their families, we are seeking your support through a tax deductible donation. Your generous support will assist with the essential expenses incurred by these families.

to Peabody Western Little League. The league tax identification number is

Due to the time limitation, (our caravan heads out this Thursday!), we can accept your check at this time or you may present it to the league President, Dave Cravotta, at 31 Murray Street , Peabody , MA by August 19^th. Dear Peabody Western Little League,
Congratulations on making it this year's Little League World Series! In
honor of the great achievement we just wanted to let you know that we
have made a special ice cream flavor that is on sale now at Cherry
Farm. It is called the "Peabody Grand Slam." The flavor consists of
vanilla ice cream, peanut butter and caramel swirl, with Baby Ruth and
Oh Henry candy bars mixed in. Also, we would like to donate all the
proceeds from the sale of this flavor back to your league. We'll be
watching and cheering for the team as they play down in Williamsport.
