Solid All Star Showings
June 3, 2009 --
 We were represented well in the SDABL 38+A Div. All-Star Game on Wednesday night, 3 June 2009, at Helix High School.
In a surprise managing move, Sarah Strohl and Meghan-Tomasita Cosgriff-Hernandez formed the Starting-Battery and went for 3 full innings.
At the plate, Strohl managed a walk in 3 appearances; 'flew' around the base paths from 1st to 3rd on a following hit, then scored on a single.
Strohl also played 2 innings in the outfield, making a putout, and, hitting her cut-offs.
At the plate Cosgriff-Hernandez got on base 2 times (beating out throws that denied 2 double-plays) in 3 At Bats, stole 2nd, and scored on a pass ball.
Cosgriff-Hernandez also played 3 innings at 2nd Base, and participated in a 6 - 4 - 3. Double Play.
It was a good All-Star Game showing for the Bandits Baseball Club.

Six So Sweet!
March 6, 2009 --
The Club is back for its sixth consecutive season in the San Diego Adult Baseball League. Fifteen Bandits return to a Club that put together a Fall 2008 campaign where they experienced major strides as a squad, and individually. Adding to this returning core of success are three new faces, Sarah Strohl, Bobbie Dee Haligowski, and Rachel Fuller-Gara. A few players are unfortunately starting the season on the disabled list, and the Club looks forward to their speedy recovery and return to the diamond.
