CONGRATULATIONS to the SeaTac 89'ers and Bantams! They are heading to the CHAMPIONSHIPS!! They played OUTSTANDING FOOTBALL in play-offs!!! Hard work paid off! Come out and support our Seatac squads at HUSKY STADIUM on Saturday, November 21st! Seatac is hosting concessions, so we would love to have extra volunteers too! Entry fees are $6 for ages 15+ and $4 for 6-14. There is a $7 fee to park! Bring the noise and come support your SEATAC SHARKS!!!

Hello all,
Many of our photos will now be available on-line for parents to view and purchase if they like… The site should launch today and is functioning and accessible right now at the following link. Please let us know what you think. There are a limited number of pics right now featuring the SeaTac Sharks (Peewees), CD Panthers (Peewees & 89ers), Rainier White Ravens (Peewees & 89ers), and West Seattle Wildcats (Peewees). We are still populating the site with pic, so more will be posted soon, as we have a lot of pics and it takes a while to get them all properly uploaded into the system. Picture Day is here....
Picture day is Monday, September 14th. All participants need to be dressed in full uniform and at the gym 15 minutes before their scheduled time. They gym is at Tyee in the back of the school. Picture times are as follows...

SKC Certification is Saturday
SKC Certification will be at Tyee High School on Saturday. Seatac Sharks are going first at 10 am! All participants need to meet with their coach at 9:30 to get their paperwork and get lined up. All birth certificates need to be to Misti by Wednesday!

2009 Season is Starting!!!
Hey they SeaTac Shark fans! Our 2009 season is starting on Monday! Practice will be at Tyee High School starting at 6:00 pm! Please be sure to wear shorts and t-shirts. Football players be sure to wear cleats and cheerleaders, wear comfortable shoes. Please also be sure to bring water or gatorade.
All fees have to be paid in full by Monday in order to avoid the $25 fee increase. If you haven't turned in a copy of your child's brith certificate, please bring it on Monday.
Gear will be handed out on Saturday, August 8th to players who have been paid in full. Certification will be on Saturday, August 15th. Seatac will begin at 10 am. Location is still TBA.

Football Coaches - USA Football Certification
Coaches~
This year, there was a change in the rules in regards to your certification. We are no longer using NYSCA certification, but instead USA Football. Attached you will find the instructions on how to go online and do your certification. It is still the same $20, but you get a whole lot more for your money - 20.00 Full Membership: Certification Course, Drills Library, Practice Planner, Film Room, Interactive Playbook, Insurance, Magazine, Ask the Expert.
ALL COACHES MUST HAVE THIS COMPLETED BY AUGUST 1st! Any coaches coming on after August 1st, will need to complete this right away.

USA Football CCEP Instructions
For Coaches
The instructions below can assist a coach as they log onto USA Football to use the Certified Coaching Education Program (CCEP).
Current USA Football Coach members:
Log into your existing USA Football account using your username (e-mail address) and password in the Log In box on the top right side of the home page.
In the far right side column, click on the blue Coaching Member box.
Click on the link at the top titled My Account
Scroll down to the bottom and click on the link to Renew Now adjacent to your coaching membership
Check the box that you agree to the terms and service
At the top of the payment page there is a box to enter in the promo code you have been given.
Enter the promo code in that box and then click the button below, Update Price.
Your membership is now renewed - you will simply need to log out and then log back in to update the page.
New Coaches – non USA Football members:
Go to USA Football
Click on Sign Up in the Coach Membership column in the middle of the page
Enter all the necessary information designated by the (*).
Check the box that you agree to the terms and service
At the top of the payment page there is a box to enter in the promo code you have been given.
Enter the promo code in the box and then click the button below, Update Price.
You will need to check your e-mail inbox for an automated e-mail sent from USA Football. Click on the link inside the e-mail message to activate your e-mail address.
You will now need to log into your account at USA Football in the Log In box on the top right side of the home page.
Your username is your e-mail address and the password you created during registration
In the far right side column, click on the blue Coaching Member box.
The Certified Coaching Education Program course and the membership tools can be accessed from the menu in the blue Coaching Member box.

Seniors - Pictures from Championships
Alright so all pictures are $5, they come in various sizes from the large 8x10 to 9 wallet size pictures on a sheet. If they just want all the pictures of there player they would need to let me know their players number So I can find all the pictures of that specific player., but if they would like to chose certain pictures they can view the pictures on my Myspace page at www.Myspace.com/ccyhpargotohp , each picture will have a number typed underneath them, all they have to do is email me the pictures they choose by their number. The pictures can either be printed out and mailed or they can simply be emailed. If they choose to have the pictures mailed to them there will be an extra charge of $2 for printing.

Cheer Banquet - UPDATE
Upon arrival to attend the cheer banquet, we discovered that Seatac was not being permitted to use the cafeteria. Vanessa and some staff members stayed until 7 pm, handing out trophies and collecting uniforms to those who showed up. There will be a rescheduled banquet in January. If you would like to turn in your uniform and get your trophy beforehand, please call Vanessa.

Cookie Dough & Elections - October 22nd
Cookie Dough will be at the field on Wednesday, October 22nd! Be prepared to pick it up and store it, NO EXCEPTIONS!
In addition, Wednesday the 22nd will be ELECTION night. Positions open for election are Athletic Director, Vice President, Treasurer, and League Representative. If you are interested or would like to nominate someone for any of these positions, please let a board member know by the 15th! Remember, this franchise runs by volunteer. There are many positions that need to be filled each year and these are key positions!

Pictures
Picture days are next week! (Cheer did theirs on the 8th). Pee Wee & 89'ers will do pictures on Tuesday, October 14th. Bantams and any make-ups will be on Wednesday, October 15th. Juniors and Seniors are on October 16th. Please have your child to the field no later then 5:45 in order to get their jersey and get prepared for their pictures. The quicker they get through pictures, the sooner they can get to practice! Also, MAKE SURE THEY BRING A CHANGE OF PANTS! They will NOT be allowed to practice in game pants!

Welcome to the 2008 SEATAC SHARKS Jr Football & Cheer! Be sure that your child is drinking water throughout the day and bringing water with them! We don't want them to get dehydrated. Anyone who registered after July 31st, the fees are $125 for returners & $135 for new comers.
Final Certification is THIS SATURDAY, August 16th @ Tyee HS, from 10-1! This is your last chance to get your child certified to participate in the 2008 season.
All birth certificates or proof of birth must be turned into Misti THIS WEEK!

FOOTBALL STARTS FRIDAY!!!!!
Hello Sharks! THE SEASON IS HERE!!! YEAH!!! Welcome back to all the returners and WELCOME to the Shark Tank for all those who are new! We are EXCITED to have you on our team! If you didn't get a parent handbook, be sure to scroll down further to see what you need for the first day of practice! We are handing gear out on the 2nd - more info will be available on Friday. In order for your child to get gear, they must be paid in full. For further information, please contact the Treasurer, Kelly Byrnes. If you haven't turned in a copy of your child's birth certificate, please get it in ASAP! Certification is Saturday the 9th, so all birth certificates need to be turned in by Wednesday, the 6th. Those get turned into the Secretary, Misti Straight.
Practice starts THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 1st @ 6:00 pm at Tyee High School! Can't wait to see you there! Come ready to learn, play, and have fun!

REGISTRATION
The franchise will register until the day before jamboree. Jamboree will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008. Cheer registration will close the second day of practice. Before any equipment is issued, all fees must be paid in full. Copies of BIRTH CERTIFICATES turned in by the end of practice on August 8, 2008. The league will not let the participant play or cheer unless their birth certificate is attached to their registration paperwork. There is a $30.00 non-refundable fee included in the registration fee and there will be no refunds after the 1st game. If you are paying by check, a $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks (NSF) No youth may leave a S.K.C.J.F.L. franchise and play for another S.K.C.J.F.L. franchise if money or equipment is owed to any S.K.C.J.F.L. franchise.
Where do your registration fees go? There is a annual fee to be a member of S.K.C.J.F.L.. The league fee covers the cost of officials to referee the games, trophies for the championships, insurance fees, and rule books to name a few. The franchise also has costs: replacement of gear, stadium, concession supplies, office supplies, and parent hand books.

FUNDRAISERS
Each year the Sharks have several fundraisers to raise money for the franchise and to keep costs down for participants. Before the season starts, the board members and coaches run a fireworks stand in Puyallup. We encourage all Shark participants to join us and support the firework stand. You can get more information including hours and directions on our web site at www.seatacsharks.com. In addition to the firework stand, we have an annual carwash and cookie dough sales. EVERYONE is required to participate in the carwash fundraiser. We ask that everyone sells 10 pre-sale tickets @ $5/each. We will be having our carwash on Sunday, August 24th, 2008. We will be washing cars from 10-4 with each team having 1 hour. Cheer 10-11, Seniors 11-12, Juniors 12-1, Bantams 1-2, 89’ers 2-3, and PeeWees 3-4. Tentatively, the car wash will be held at the Burien Albertsons on 1st Avenue and 128th. If you choose not to participate in this fundraiser, you have the option to pay $50 buyout. This fundraiser is a MANDATORY fundraiser for the Seatac Shark participants. The cookie dough fundraiser comes out toward the end of August, but will not be mandatory. Our concession stands and grill nights are also considered fundraisers, so any volunteers to help run them are greatly appreciated. All funds brought into the franchise are used to keep equipment up-to-date, stadium costs, league fees, etc.
