    SERRC INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES
    When the SERRC is closed for Inclement Weather a notice will be posted on the SERRC website no later than two hours before game time/first event scheduled. If the Snow Emergency plan goes into effect during the progress of a day the game in progress and the next game will play but after that will be closed for the remainder of the day. (Ex. Snow plan goes into effect at 1:30pm; 1pm game will finish and 2pm game will still play but 3pm game and on will be cancelled)

    Weekdays
    Whenever schools are closed for the day or close early by snow, ice, or other severe weather conditions, all activities (programs and meetings) scheduled for that afternoon or evening at the Southeast Regional Recreation Center would be cancelled. SERRC activities will proceed according to schedule the day following the early school closing, unless schools remain closed because of inclement weather conditions. Extended school closings (more than one day) are subject to the terms below: “Extended Closings”.

    Weekends
    If the Snow Emergency Plan is in effect the SERRC will be closed. (Snow plan is in effect at the beginning of the day we will be closed for the entire day)

    Extended Closings
    Programs may reopen when the Snow emergency Plan has been lifted and Parking lots and sidewalks are cleared and safe.
    The Community Supervisor will determine final operating approval.
    The Department of Recreation and Parks is registered with WBAL (1090 AM) Radio. Staff and participants are advised to listen for updated information.
