The Arrowsmith Outlaws Baseball Association is in their 3rd year of existence but this is the 1st year our 11U team has played together. Our players come from Colfax, Saybrook, Arrowsmith, Gibson City, and Bloomington. Our organization's goal is to give our players a head start on the summer baseball season by playing spring games and tournaments. The organization was founded by Dale and Betsy McDaniels of Colfax in 2005. Dale schedules the team's regular season games, orders uniforms, and prepares the fields for play. Betsy handles tournament registration, umpire scheduling and concessions. We also have a great deal of help from volunteer parents in our organization.
The community of Arrowsmith is home to about 350 residents. The landscape around the village is currently transforming as a wind farm is being built. You will see the turbines dotted all around the area as you drive into Arrowsmith.
The Arrowsmith Outlaws pride themselves on running fun, family-friendly, and reasonably priced tournaments. There is a playground for younger kids and many of our tournaments include road runner contests during breaks in tournament action. This gives the kids an opportunity to compete for additional prizes.
We hope to see you at an upcoming tournament - please sign our guestbook...we'd love to know who's visiting our Web site!
