Alabama Youth Football Camp Sign ups are NOW (Age 8 thru 14)
May 5, 2008 - The Bama Youth Football camp is this June 15-18th. I HIGHLY recommend the camp to any Thorsby youth football player that wants to go. There are three practices a day (each one around 90 min long) for a total of around 10 practices. The boys will get to spend one on one time with a mixture of University of Alabama coaches as well as High School football coaches from across the State of Alabama. The practices are pretty much run EXACTLY like Bama runs their practices as far as time, tempo, and content are concerned. I promise you that your son will learn during the camp because Coach Saban is VERY VERY big on getting lots of repetitions in for every player.
I would be happy to give anybody a ride to and from the camp. We are “night” campers so we will be spending the nights at Tutwiler Hall. The price of registration does include room and board as well as all food. BE ADVISED – the cutoff for sign ups for the camp is May 25th for pre-registration; anything after that date and you will show up and be a “walk on” on the first day of camp -- and they may or may not have room for you. Last year we had over 800 boys at the camp so it does fill fast.
