Uniforms - General Information
Uniform Nights will be scheduled for late August/early September.
A uniform deposit of $50.00 (check only, post-dated to 11/1/2009) is required to receive your uniform. Cheerleaders are responsible for their uniforms throughout the season and up until uniform return day. Lost and altered items will be charged for. You must also return the uniform in the condition in which it was received in order to receive your security deposit back.
Additional items are necessary for each level such as white cheer sneakers, bloomers and leotards. Specific styles will be needed and your coaching staff will have that information for you.

Be sure to mention that you are part of the Timberlane Tornadoes team and receive 10% off your purchases.
In addition to uniform items, we recommend you have black gloves, black sweatshirt (no hoodies, no zippers) and black stretch pants on hand for games in the fall. Cheerleaders are allowed to wear these items on the sidelines when the weather is cold.

What To Wear & Bring to Practice
We know there are some "first timers" this season and everyone can use a pre-season reminder:
* Hair tied back and off the face
* No jewelry (including body piercings)
* No nail polish
* Wear cheer sneakers
* Wear body fitting cheer shorts/tank or tee shirt (no loose clothing)
* No apparel with zippers or hoods
* Bring a smile and a positive attitude
Bug spray is highly recommended when practicing outdoors. Bring plenty of water to keep hydrated!!!
YOU are responsible for your personal items, not your coaches. Please leave your valuables (jewelry, money, ipods, phones, bags) at home.
You are responsible as a team for leaving the field clean. It is not the duty of your coaching staff or the high school field maintenance staff to clean up your water bottles or rescue the clothing you left behind. Please check the field to make sure you've tossed your trash and that you're going home with all of your belongings.

Inquiries, Problem Resolution & Concerns
It is important to remember that coaches are responsible for their individual teams. Coaches will make themselves available to all parents/guardians with concerns and the coaches contact information can be found on the "contact info" icon on the main menu. All questions and concerns should be directed to them. In the unlikely event that a satisfactory resolution cannot be achieved, please contact the Director, Michelle Murphy at smcjmurph@comcast.net.
Changes to practice times, locations and game days can occur during the season. Please use this site as a resource and/or the Director's contact information to confirm if you hear of a change pertaining to the cheer league.
If you need general information please do the same. Information should not come from the cheerleaders, other parents, etc... we do not want you to receive incorrect information that inconveniences you and your family. Our goal is always to strive for a great communication system. If you have suggestions to improve on this system we want to hear from you!
