Two Coaches get Recognized by a parent ...
A GREAT BIG thank you to Coaches Ian Carucci & Emmet Finnerty for their positive encouragement & teaching the kids its' NOT all about WINNING!!!

My son, Aaron Masse, is on the Stone Transport team with manager, Ian Carucci and coach, Emmet Finnerty.  We played this past Tuesday night and lost 4-11.  After the game I said to Coach Carucci, "tough game, huh?"  His reply was this, "No, not really.  There was one tough inning, but other than that the kids did really well.  I'm trying to teach them about having fun as it isn't just about winning."  He went on to say that he is still moving them around encouraging them to play different positions as they learn and develop their skills.

A few weeks ago, they had Aaron pitch an inning and he was the happiest boy on earth that night.  He didn't do too bad and regardless of the pitch he threw, both coaches and the father helpers kept encouraging him.

I am telling you this because I think it is important that you have feedback on what goes on out there in the fields.  I think both Ian and Emmet do a fantastic job with the kids and I am very happy that Aaron is on their team this year.  Even the fathers that help out and the parents that sit in the stands take the coach's lead and positively encourage each child up to bat or in the field having just had a play with the ball.

It is a very positive experience all the way around!

Thank you
Monique Masse
