Congratulations to the following Fundy Twirlers*Starettes who were tested for their Diamond Pins at the 2007 St. Patrick's Day Open Regional Baton Competition held in Neguac and/or Moncton 2007 April by Adjudicator Brenda Arsenault-Leblanc. These athletes will be recognized at the awards 2007 Baton New Brunswick Provincials in May 2007.

Results of St. Patrick's Day Baton Competition
March 11, 2006 --
Fundy Twirlers*Starettes hosted the 2006 St. Patrick's Day Baton Twirling Open Competition - Baton New Brunswick/Canadian Baton Twirling Federation in Saint John on March 11, 2006. A total of 75 twirling athletes competed and the twirling clubs who entered are: Club Baton Atlantik, Dawnette Baton Twirlers, Dynamite Twirlers, Fundy Twirlers*Starettes, Fusion, Halifax Sparklettes, Les Etincelles & Royal Baton Sportif. Our judges were: Lynda Garland and Brenda Wilkes both from Ontario. Please accept my sincere apology to our 1st Vice President of Baton New Brunswick for not including her in the opening ceremonies with the rest of Baton New Brunswick Executive. It was an error on my (Debbie Middleton's) part and I am truly sorry for the misunderstanding. Special thanks goes to all of our hard working parents who helped made our contest run successfully. Thank you to two very special athletes who helped be the runners for our Pre-Events: Holly Stewart from Club Baton Atlantik and Summer Worden from Fundy Twirlers*Starettes both of you did a great job!! Fund Raisers for 2006 CBTF Canadians
Fundy Twirlers*Starettes athletes who will be attending the 2006 Canadian Baton Twirling Federation - Canadians/Nationals in Toronto, Ontario in July. Right now the twirlers are selling tickets at a $1 a piece for one ticket to go see Hilary Duff on January 26 with Coach Steffi. If you would like to buy a ticket either see Mrs. M. at class or contact her at 849-6624.
Next Saturday, January 14th the twirlers will be having a bottle drive starting at 10am in French Village/Rothesay area. The drop off place will be downstairs in the garage so the bottles can be sorted before bringing them into the bottle exchange. More information will be sent home at class this week.
PLEASE NOTE: As some of our twirlers have not attained their score of 2.5 yet, it is hard to do a fund raiser in case they will NOT attained their score so we decided the following:
If you feel you will be able to attain your 2.5 then YES take part in all of the fundraisers for 2006 CBTF Canadians as long as you understand this: If you do NOT attain the 2.5 score then all fund raising funds you have raised will go towards the twirling athletes who will be attending Canadians, no exceptations! If you have any questions regarding this please contact Mrs. M. at 849-6624. Thanks!
